How to announce pregnancy to grandparent?

Yours will be thrilled too, they just might be a bit surprised at the same time. Have dinner together, privately and announce it to them over dessert. Be happy about it, stress that you had planned to wait, but that it happened and you couldn't be happier about the surprise. They might be shocked, but they're going to be grandparents... how could they not be thrilled??
