Is it necessary/proper to write "Invitation to follow" on my save the date?

I have magnets for my save the date and I'm putting them on a little postcard that says "Save the date!" and it also has the URL to my wedding website. Do you think I need to say "invitation to follow"? Is it improper to leave it out?
