Help with a petition to cut politicians pay?

Do you know that house officials can get as much as $15,000 a month retirement even if they only serve one term. Americans, Our politicians are getting fat while we struggle to make ends meet. We need to cut their pay as they are not doing the job. It is obsene how much they get paid and how seldom they protect us from things like oil companies and cartels. Can we really afford to pay them so much to sell us down the river? They keep voting themselves pay raises they don't deserve. Isn't it time we voted to cut their pay? Shouldn't they be working for us and not visa versa?
