I have a 1991 honda prelude it stop running ad after i mest with it it started again what could be worng?

If it repeats the problem,don't touch it for 20 minutes,and see if it starts up. If yes could be overheated coil,or ignition module,or tired fuel pump.listen for sounds of relays clicking on when you put the key in on position,listen for whine of fuel pump.
