Should I Be Looking Into Buying A Stepchild Snowboard?

Hey, here's my problem. I like Back country but I like the Park a bit more, I got into Stepchild Snowboards and have done a bit of research but now I need YOUR help. #1 Is Stepchild even a good Company for Snowboards? I watched some videos on Youtube and like the character of the team :P. #2 What board should I get? Either Stepchild or what ever you claim as 'awesome'. #3 Will a Stepchild last a while? And... yep Thank you for your help! If you have any other suggestions of boards I should get into to, please post 'em.
