Suggestions for how talk to my husband about his ist jokes and behavior?

Let me say first that I love my husband very much and that he is in general a good man who respects me. However, my problem lies in his behavior and actions when we are out socially. He will make ist comments and jokes which he seems to think are ok because the subject is me strangely enough. He will suggest, in front of his friends, that I flash people my or that I go dance ily for him and give a show. When I get pissed he patronizes me by rolling his eyes and saying 'geez it's just a joke!' He knows I don't engage in that sort of behavior so it's confusing and humiliating to have my husband even suggesting to others that I would behave like that. I have tried to talk to him but he always stands by the 'it's just a joke' excuse. How do I point out to him or enable him to see that even though they are jokes, they are ist jokes and not ok?
