Was I really hypnotized?

Idk if I can be hypnotized. When I was 8 I was thinking about a show so deeply that I lost awareness of my surroundings and my thought seemed to have came to life. Recently I tried selfhypnosis in cl. I felt like I stopped thinking for a while and I was lost in a black hole. Then all of a sudden I felt like my soul fell into my body. Was I hypnotized? If I was, then why am I having trouble with hypnosis right now?
